Choose a play from the PRE-AIDS LGBTQ+ plays we’ve read this semester and present a pitch for a modern-day queer adaptation to the class.
This creative assignment will require a synopsis, character breakdown, vision inspiration board, and a dialogue sample:
A synopsis (200 – 300 words) – create a synopsis of your play adaptation. Within the synopsis, tell us what play it is being adapted from.
Give us the main arc of the protagonist and the struggle with the antagonist. Don’t forget to include what is at stake if the protagonist does not get what they want. – 10 Points
A character breakdown – List of characters with descriptions – the characters can be different from the original source material.
